Celebrating Leadership, Connection, and 75 Years of NPA!

The National Parking Association Convention & Expo is always one of the highlights of the year for our team at Nationwide Parking Services. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with longtime friends, build new relationships, learn from industry leaders, and celebrate the people who continue to move parking forward.

This year’s event was especially meaningful as NPA kicked off its 75th anniversary and gave us plenty of reasons to reflect on the people and relationships that make this industry such a special community.

Celebrating Women in Parking

Women in Parking continues to be an important part of the NPA Convention, bringing together women from across the industry to connect, learn, support one another, and celebrate leadership.

This year also marked an important transition for WIP as Nicole Hankins stepped down as Chair. During Nicole’s tenure, WIP grew from a relatively small gathering into one of the most well-attended days of the NPA Convention. Her warmth, leadership, and commitment to mentoring others have made a lasting impact on the organization and the women who have been part of it.

We are incredibly grateful for Nicole’s leadership and excited to see Sarah Blouch step into the role as the new WIP Chair. We look forward to seeing where she takes the organization next.

The celebration of women leaders continued with Nicolle Judge receiving NPA’s 2026 Women in Parking Impact Award. The award recognizes a parking professional dedicated to advancing women in leadership, fostering inclusion, and supporting employee development. Congratulations to Nicolle on a well-deserved honor.

Leadership From the C-Suite

We were also proud to see our own CEO, Angela Clark, take the stage alongside fellow WIPsmart leaders for a conversation about emotional intelligence in the C-suite.

Together with Kacey Siskind (HONK) and Maggie Vercoe (TEZ Technology), the session explored how emotional intelligence, mentoring, and supporting the people around us can strengthen teams and ultimately lead to better organizational results.

Kicking Off 75 Years of NPA

This year’s Convention also marked the beginning of a major milestone: the National Parking Association’s 75th anniversary. We were thrilled to be part of the kickoff celebration, moderated by Roamy Valera and featuring Howie Long, who shared his perspective on leadership and developing a winning attitude.

Seventy-five years is an extraordinary milestone, but what stood out throughout the Convention was how much energy there is around what comes next. The industry continues to evolve, but the relationships, collaboration, and willingness to share ideas that have defined NPA remain as strong as ever.

The People Behind the Convention

Of course, an event of this size and quality doesn’t happen on its own.

Our sincere thanks go to Christine Banning and the entire NPA team who tirelessly work behind the scenes all year to bring the Convention & Expo to life. Their work creates an environment where parking professionals can learn, reconnect, exchange ideas, celebrate accomplishments, and strengthen the relationships that make our industry better.

For the NPS team, that’s ultimately what makes the NPA Convention so valuable. We loved catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, celebrating some exceptional industry leaders, and spending time with the parking community.

Congratulations to NPA on 75 years! Here’s to many more.
